Australian born Celtic harpist/composer & singer-songwriter, Lissa~Kathe, (pronounced Lissa-Kate) brings her Scottish/Irish & Germanic ancestry alive through her music. While performing her sounds at Lunga House, on the West coast of Scotland, the Laird, Colin McDougal commented "Lissa-Kathe has brought her Celtic music to a whole new level"
With stirring airs and rhythmic reels of traditional and original Celtic tunes and songs, I bring you my 36 string lever harp and my voice.
I am enormously inspired by Celtic music; Scottish & Irish of my fathers ancestry and Germanic and Nordic of my mothers. Their history compel me to compose my own songs and tunes from that heritage. I also draw on my own experience of time in Scotland exploring the Hebrides, the Callanish Stones, and the wild Shetland Isles . I have more travelling to do to further inspire more Celtic creations on my harp
Thankyou for visiting my site. I hope my music throughout these pages also inspire you. Check back regularly for my upcoming concerts and performances during 2018.
Below are 2 tracks from my newly released album Calanais.
